ALLAH
[THE ONE AND ONLY]

سُوۡرَةُ الشّوریٰ
لَيۡسَ كَمِثۡلِهِۦ شَىۡءٌ۬‌ۖ وَهُوَ ٱلسَّمِيعُ ٱلۡبَصِيرُ (١١)

Surah Ash-Shura
There is nothing like Him, and He is the All-Hearer, the All-Seer. (11)

The core ideology of Allah, as described in the Qur’an, is the belief in the Oneness of God, His unique attributes, and His absolute sovereignty. Surah Ash-Shura (Chapter 42) of the Qur’an is one of the many chapters that emphasizes these fundamental beliefs. The verse Surah Ash-Shura (42:11), states: “There is nothing like Him, and He is the All-Hearer, the All-Seer.”

This verse highlights several key aspects of the core ideology of Allah:

Tawheed (Monotheism):
The verse asserts the absolute uniqueness and oneness of Allah. There is nothing comparable to Him in His essence or attributes. This concept of Tawheed is the central belief in Islam, emphasizing that there is no deity except Allah, and He has no partners or associates.

Incomparability:
“There is nothing like Him” signifies that Allah is beyond human comprehension and imagination. His attributes and qualities are incomparable to any created beings or entities. This highlights the transcendence of Allah.

All-Hearing and All-Seeing:
The verse also affirms two of Allah’s essential attributes, which are His ability to hear and see everything. Allah is the All-Hearer, meaning that He is fully aware of all sounds and voices, and the All-Seer, meaning that He observes everything, including our actions and intentions. This underscores the idea that nothing escapes His knowledge and perception.

Divine Knowledge: This verse reminds believers of Allah’s omniscience, as He is not only aware of the physical world but also knows the thoughts and feelings of every individual. This knowledge reinforces the idea that He is fully aware of our deeds, intentions, and innermost thoughts.

Theological Foundation:
The verse serves as a theological foundation for understanding Allah’s attributes. Muslims believe in a God who is both transcendent and immanent, and they seek to build a relationship with Him through worship, prayer, and righteous deeds.

In summary, the core ideology of Allah, as highlighted in Surah Ash-Shura (42:11), revolves around the belief in the Oneness of God, His incomparability, His all-encompassing knowledge, and His attributes as the All-Hearer and All-Seer. This verse is a powerful reminder for believers to maintain their faith in the unique and omnipotent nature of Allah, while also recognizing His awareness of all that occurs in the universe.
